Chinese firm to build solar panel plant in Punjab

A Chinese company will set up a solar panel manufacturing and assembly plant in Punjab.

An agreement to this effect was signed between Punjab Industry Minister Chaudhry Shafay Hussain and Chinese company’s South Pacific Region President Alex Heng in Lahore today.

Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that first solar panel manufacturing plant and solar panel testing lab will be built in the province.
