Christian community delegation calls on KP Governor in Peshawar

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Haji Ghulam Ali says educational institutes managed by Christian churches are playing vital role for development of education sector in the province.

Talking to a representative delegation of Christian community in Peshawar on Sunday, he said these educational institutes are also rendering valuable services in increasing the country’s literacy rate.

Expressing regret over the Jaranwala incident, the Governor said that all schools of thought have expressed solidarity with the Christian community and assured them that they are not alone and the entire nation is with them.

The Governor assured the delegation his full cooperation to resolve the problems being faced by educational institutes managed by Christian churches in the province.
