Karachi: Anti encroachments squad of City District Government Karachi during an action on Saturday recovered 100 acres land worth about Rs500million near Northern Bypass.
The recovered land which is located in Keamari and Gadap Town was allotted by Board of Revenue for relocation of whole sale markets near Northern Bypass.
The operation was overseen by EDO Revenue Ganhor Leghari, D.O Revenue Shoukat Jokhio and head of anti-encroachments cell Irfan Bahadur.
The anti- encroachments squad razed concreted structures and boundary wall with heavy machinery as no resistance was seen during the action.
This may be noted that the city government had so far recovered nearly 600 acres of land worth billions of rupees in its ongoing campaign against the encroachments.
