Class 12 Exams in IIOJK Postponed After Students Receive Class 11 Question Papers

Srinagar, In a significant mishap, the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (BOSE) postponed the Class 12 annual examinations across Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) after Class 12 students were mistakenly given Class 11 question papers.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the error was identified when Class 12 candidates, scheduled to write their Physical Education examination, were handed question papers intended for Class 11 due to a packaging mistake. The board has announced its decision to conduct an investigation into the circumstances leading to this significant oversight.

Following the discovery of the error, the BOSE immediately decided to postpone the day’s Class 12 examination across the IIOJK. The officials confirmed that the Physical Education paper had been cancelled and a new examination date would be communicated soon to the affected students.

This incident has prompted a response from education authorities to ensure such errors are not repeated in the future, underlining the importance of stringent checks and balances in the examination process.
