Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif chaired a meeting to review suggestions for the commencement of ropeways transport in the Punjab.
He directed concerned authorities to prepare feasibility report to run ropeways transport on four different points. i.e. Imamia colony to railway station, tomb of Jahangir to the greater Iqbal Park, Jallo Mor to Thokar Niaz Baig and Murree to Islamabad.
He said that a foreign ropeway manufacturing company also shown interest to work on this project in collaboration with Punjab government.
Talking to ex-federal minister Abbas Khan Afridi, who called him today, Chief Minister said national economy is thriving due to the concrete measures taken by the government.
Shahbaz Sharif said the country is heading towards progress and prosperity as compared to 2013.
He said that the Pakistan of 2018 will be safer and more developed than today’s Pakistan.
