CNG stations in Sindh and Hub to remain closed for 24 hours

Karachi: In view of the continuing gas shortage due to increased winter load and in accordance with the recent ECC decision, it has been decided to shut down gas to the CNG stations in Sindh and Hub for 24 hours from 9 am on Friday, December 23 till 9 am on Saturday, December 24, 2011.

The decision to discontinue gas to the CNG stations on a periodic basis follows an extraordinarily low pressure situation that has badly affected overall gas supply in Sindh and Baluchistan.

SSGC realizes that while the customers are faced with an adverse situation, the Company is taking all actions to ensure uninterrupted gas supply and a stable pressure. In this regard, the management has requested all stakeholders to fully support the Company in handling low pressure situation more effectively.
