Cold and Dry Weather Expected Across Country with Fog in Several Regions

Islamabad: Cold and dry weather is expected over most parts of the country, while very cold conditions are anticipated in hilly areas during the next twelve hours. Moderate to dense fog is likely to persist over Punjab, upper Sindh, and plain areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Frost may occur at isolated places in the Potohar region and Kashmir during morning hours.

According to Radio Pakistan, temperatures recorded this morning in major cities include Islamabad and Peshawar at three degrees centigrade, Lahore at nine, Karachi at eleven, Quetta at minus-three, Gilgit at minus-four, Murree at zero, and Muzaffarabad at four degrees centigrade.

The weather forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir indicates very cold and dry weather in Srinagar, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula, while Jammu is expected to experience cold and foggy conditions. The temperatures recorded this morning were minus-three degrees centigrade in Srinagar, Pulwama, and Baramula, six in Jammu, minus-nine in Leh, and minus-two in Anantnag and Shopian.
