Cordoba Logistics Director’s Spouse Buys Company Shares

Cordoba: A significant transaction involving the purchase of shares by Raza Elahi, the spouse of Anum Raza, a Non-Executive Director of Cordoba Logistics and Ventures Limited, took place on April 17, 2021. According to the company’s recent filing with the Pakistan Stock Exchange, Elahi acquired 46,003 shares at a price of PKR 14.25 each. The transaction, executed through the Central Depository Company (CDC) in the Ready Market, amounts to a total of PKR 655,542.75.

This transaction is set to be reviewed at the upcoming board meeting of Cordoba Logistics and Ventures Limited, where any potential non-compliance issues will be addressed as mandated by PSX Regulations clause No. 5.6.1(d). According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company has confirmed that the transaction has surpassed the mandatory holding period of six months. If it had been within this period, profits from the sale of these shares would have been subject to a cheque deposit with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), in compliance with Section 105 of the Securities Act, 2015.
