Karachi: Crescent Star Insurance Limited has declared no dividends, bonus shares, rights issues, or any other corporate actions for the second quarter ending June 30, 2024, according to a board meeting held on August 16. The detailed financial outcomes reflect steady operational activities without significant changes in corporate entitlements or price-sensitive actions.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company’s net insurance premium for the quarter amounted to 61.85 million Rupees, slightly down from 69.28 million in the corresponding period last year. Other significant financial metrics such as net insurance claims and premium deficiencies also showed fluctuations with an overall decrease in profit after tax from 42.09 million Rupees last year to 35.42 million Rupees in the current period. The earnings per share stood at 0.57 Rupees compared to 0.49 Rupees in June 2023.
The company has reported that these results and the quarterly report for the period ended June 30, 2024, will be transmitted through PUCARS within the stipulated time frame.
