Karachi: The Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan released new data on Thursday, indicating minor fluctuations in the currency exchange rates. The report highlights changes in the buying and selling rates of several major currencies against the local currency.
According to the association, the U.S. dollar showed a slight variation, with the buying rate pegged at 281.03 and the selling rate at 281.50. The euro experienced a similar trend, with buying at 327.06 and selling at 330.01.
The British pound remained relatively stable, with the buying rate recorded at 374.05 and the selling rate at 377.47. The Japanese yen saw minor adjustments, with rates set at 1.79 for buying and 1.84 for selling.
Among the regional currencies, the United Arab Emirates dirham was listed at 76.54 for buying and 77.35 for selling. The Saudi riyal stood at 74.82 for buying and 75.44 for selling.
Interbank rates were also noted, with the U.S. dollar buying rate at 280.45 and selling at 280.65.
These figures reflect the ongoing dynamics in the currency exchange markets and are crucial for businesses and individuals engaged in international transactions.
