Karachi: In accordance with Clause (xxiii) of the Listing Regulation No. 35 (Code of Corporate Governance), we are pleased to disseminate the following information for circulation amongst the members of the exchange and other stakeholders.
That the Waste Heat Recovery Project of D.G. Khan Cement Company Limited (DGKC) situated at Dera Ghazi Khan, generating 10.4 MW of electricity, has been successfully registered with United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) for carbon credit.
The project is expected to generate 33,845 metric tones CO2 equivalent per annum for a credit period from January 2012 to December 2021.
