Dar Urges Diplomats to Serve Pakistan with Compassion

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has inaugurated Phase-I of the renovated premises of the Foreign Service Academy, Islamabad. Earlier, addressing the graduation ceremony of the 45th Specialized Diplomatic Course at the Academy, he thanked the Government of China for its generous support and funding for the renovation initiative.

According to Radio Pakistan, Ishaq Dar described the renovation as another reflection of the close and enduring Pak-China friendship. He highlighted the Academy’s role in preparing generations of Pakistani diplomats and noted that, in addition to training Pakistan’s Foreign Service, the Academy has trained over 1,600 diplomats from 122 countries.

Ishaq Dar underscored the importance of knowledge, sound judgment, and character in advancing Pakistan’s interests across political, economic, technological, educational, and people-to-people spheres. He called on the graduating officers to serve Pakistan with professionalism, integrity, and compassion, keeping the country’s interests at the heart of their work.

The Deputy Prime Minister also distributed medals and certificates to the graduating officers and congratulated them on successfully completing their training.
