Dar Vows to Further Strengthen Ties with Gulf Countries

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar has reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to further strengthening longstanding, historic, and brotherly relations with the Gulf countries across political, economic, and people-to-people dimensions. He expressed these views while addressing the closing session of the five-day Regional Envoys’ Conference held in Islamabad today.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Deputy Prime Minister reviewed the comprehensive deliberations and key recommendations that emerged over the past few days during the conference. He reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to enhancing economic engagement and promoting regional peace and stability. Emphasizing the welfare of the Pakistani diaspora in Gulf countries and across the world, he assured that it remains a top priority of the government.

Dar highlighted Pakistan’s constructive and facilitative role in promoting regional peace and stability and underscored the importance of sustained engagement. He directed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, heads of missions, and relevant ministries to maintain close coordination, pursue proactive engagement, and ensure effective follow-up on the recommendations of the conference.
