Daraz Gaye Mandi: Selling Cows Online For The First Time

Karachi, August 05, 2019 (PPI-OT): Daraz, the country’s leading eCommerce platform, has been pushing the boundaries of innovation in the country and this year the retailer is offering a new service for customers in Karachi ahead of Eid ul Adha.

For the first time, Daraz will be selling cows online. With the festive weekend around the corner, Daraz has set up stalls at Sohrab Goth in Karachi where cows are available for purchase at various price points – starting from Rs. 70,000 and going up to Rs. 1,000,000.

Customers are provided with the option of making digital payments for their purchases of these animals or, if they visit the mandi, they can also pay in cash. Daraz is offering a flat 6% off as well as free delivery with all purchases! Daraz has collaborated with Coke and Tapal so that customers visiting the stall will receive free Roar and chai for installing the Daraz app.

The platform recently launched an instant messaging feature that allows customers to interact with sellers before and after they make a purchase. Through Instant Messaging, customers can seek advice from sellers on the products they are looking to buy and inquire about discounts.

Customers looking to buy a cow can also bargain with the seller online and negotiate the price of the animal before they purchase. Daraz is offering discounts on negotiated prices, as well. If they want, buyers can visit the mandi to look at the animal before they purchase. Daraz’s stall at Sohrab Goth will remain till August 10th and offers an excellent opportunity to customers in Karachi to purchase their animals before Eid!
