Defence Minister calls for supremacy of Constitution

Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif has called for supremacy of the Constitution and rule of law to run the country smoothly.

Talking to media persons in Sialkot today, he said the constitution defines the limits and powers of all institutions.

He said parliament has sole right for legislation.

The Minister said an attack was made on Pakistan’s integrity and stability on May 9 last year.

He said Tehreek-e-Insaf is working against the country’s integrity and stability.

He said anyone who violates the constitution should be subjected to Article-6.
