Karachi, January 04, 2020 (PPI-OT): The Excise and Taxation Department of Karachi has had a major success in the ongoing action against drug peddlers under the direction of the Minister for Excise and Taxation and Narcotics Control and Parliamentary Affairs, Mukesh Kumar Chawla. In this operation, one kilogram and five grams of ice drugs were recovered from the possession of drug dealer Asadullah near Government Degree Science College, Liaquatabad. A case has been registered against the accused and an investigation has been launched.
It should be noted that this ice drug is provided to the students of schools and colleges and a special task force has also been set up on the directive of provincial minister Mukesh Kumar Chawla to prevent this drug.
Meanwhile the Minister for Excise and Taxation and Narcotics Control and Parliamentary Affairs, Mukesh Kumar Chawla, Secretary, Excise and Taxation and Narcotics Control Abdul Haleem Sheikh and Director General Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui have congratulated on the successful operation of the Excise Department Karachi. Provincial Minister Mukesh Kumar Chaula added. Those involved in heinous business of drug peddling will not be spared and action against drug peddlers will be intensified’.
