Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar Calls for National Participation in Economic Reforms at Lahore Event

Lahore: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar emphasized the need for collective efforts to achieve national prosperity during his speech at the National Mehfil e Samaa, part of the 981st annual Urs of Hazrat Syed Ali Bin Usman Al Hajveri, known as Data Ganj Baksh.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Dar addressed the gathering in Lahore today, where he highlighted the teachings of Sufi saints on peace and tolerance as foundational for the country’s progress. He reiterated the commitment of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and his economic team to enhancing the nation’s economy through diligent reforms.

Additionally, the Deputy Prime Minister lauded the Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for her initiative to provide 45 billion rupees in relief to electricity consumers, reflecting a significant effort towards economic relief for the populace.
