District and Sessions Judges are true leaders: Director General, Federal Judicial Academy

Islamabad, October 21, 2019 (PPI-OT): A one-week training course on “Leadership and Management” for District and Sessions Judges from all over Pakistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir began at the Federal Judicial Academy, Islamabad, on Monday. Addressing the participants of this third batch, Director General of the Academy, Mr. Hayat Ali Shah said,” District and Sessions Judges are true leaders by virtue of their position. Allah has chosen you for this exalted position of leadership. It is the District and Sessions Judge to whom people look up to because it is he who provides justice to them at the grassroots level.”

Referring to the this well – thought and well – conceived course in which subjects like, “Emotional Intelligence”, “Integrity Management (Practical Exercise)”, “Change Management”, “Team Building Through Engagement”, “Management Communication Skills”, “Individual Command Task”, “Planning, Prioritization and Delegation”, “Office and Linguistic skills”, “Measuring Performance” and several other leadership and management aspects have been included, the Director General said, “Since all of you are embellished with leadership qualities, this training course provides you the opportunity to polish those the innate qualities within you. This course also provides you an opportunity to share your experiences with your colleagues from all over the country and be a part of the training process.”

“Syndicate discussion, syndicate presentations and self-assessment evaluation also form part and parcel of this training course”, the DG concluded. 26 heads of district judiciary are undergoing this weeklong training at the Academy.
