Tehran, December 02, 2012 (PPI-OT): Advisor to Prime Minister on Petroleum and Natural Resources, Dr. Asim Hussain, yesterday held meetings with the Iranian Petroleum Minister, Mr. Rostam Ghasemi, the Foreign Minister, Dr. Ali Akbar Salehi and Advisor to the President and Head of the Centre for Innovation and Technology Cooperation (CITC), Mr. Hamid R. Amirinia. Dr. Asim Hussain is currently on a two-day visit to Iran.
During separate meetings with the Iranian Petroleum Minister and the Foreign Minister, he discussed bilateral relations with focus on the Iran-Pakistan gas pipeline. He was given a briefing on the achievements of Iran in the field of nano-technology by Mr. Hamid R. Amirinia. The two sides agreed to explore ways and means to cooperate in this field.
Dr. Asim Hussain will also call on the Iranian President.
