Dr. Ghulam Nabi Fai Set to Engage with Kashmir Leadership in Pakistan

Washington D.C, In a significant diplomatic move, Dr. Ghulam Nabi Fai, a prominent Washington-based Kashmiri leader, is scheduled to visit Pakistan next month. His agenda includes meetings with key figures from the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) and the leadership of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), signaling a continued effort to address the Kashmir issue on various fronts.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Dr. Fai holds numerous influential positions, serving as the Secretary General of the “World Kashmir Awareness Forum� and the Chairman of the “World Forum for Peace and Justice.� His extensive activism and leadership extend to founding roles in the ‘Justice Foundation’ in London, the ‘International Institute of Kashmir Studies’ in Leicester (UK), and as the Editor-in-Chief of ‘Kashmir Press International’ based in Birmingham (UK).

Dr. Fai’s longstanding commitment to the Kashmir cause and conflict resolution has been recognized on international platforms. Notably, his engagements have included addressing the United Nations Conference on Technical Cooperation Among Developing Countries in 1986 in New York, participating in the UN Conference on Conflict Resolutions in 1992, and leading as the chairman of the NGO Unrepresented Peoples and Nations of the World (UPN) during the Vienna conference in 1993. He was also part of the Third Global Structures Convocation organized by the United Nations in Washington, D.C., in July 1993.
