Dr. Zafar Mirza inaugurates new OPD block of federal general hospital

Islamabad, December 19, 2019 (PPI-OT): Dr. Zafar Mirza Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Health inaugurated new OPD Block of Federal General Hospital here today. Speaking on the occasion Dr. Zafar Mirza said in accordance with vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan major reforms were being implemented in the health sector and health facilities were being upgraded to provide better facilities to the patients. We are striving to provide Universal Health Coverage and Primary Health-care being strengthened in this context. I am delighted to inaugurate new OPD of Federal General Hospital said Dr. Zafar Mirza.

The new building has 19 rooms where Gynae, paediatrics, dermatology, ophthalmology, surgery, orthopedic and other services are being provided. The patients will be provided quality facilities at the new OPD said Dr. Zafar Mirza. Sehat Insaf Cards have been provided to 5 Million families across Pakistan. The facility will be extended to 10 Million families by the end of next year. Islamabad Model Health City has been launched.
