Draw for Urs of Hazrat Mujaddid Alf-Thani held in Islamabad

A draw for Zaireen to participate in the Urs of Hazrat Mujaddid Alf-Thani in India was held in Islamabad today.

Around 400 applications were received from all over the country to participate in the Urs. Out of the total applicants, two hundred Zaireen were selected as per the provincial quota.

Results of the draw have been uploaded on the website of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony.

The successful applicants will also be notified through SMS. In the next step, the visitors will complete the online form for Indian visa and send their passports to the Ministry.

It is pertinent to mention that the Ministry of Religious Affairs completes the arrangements of religious pilgrimages in India under the 1974 agreement. Pakistani devotees visit the shrines of six Sufi saints in India.
