Egyptian Envoy Predicts Enhanced Pak-Egypt Trade Ties with Easier Visa Policies

Islamabad: Egyptian Ambassador to Pakistan, Dr. Ihab Abdel Hamid, has indicated that simplifying visa procedures between Pakistan and Egypt is likely to boost economic and trade relations between the two nations. This move is seen as a strategic step to deepen bilateral ties and enhance cooperative ventures, particularly in trade and tourism.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, during an interview with APP, Ambassador Hamid highlighted the significance of Pakistan’s ‘Look Africa Policy’ in expanding trade with African nations, with Egypt poised to play a crucial role in this initiative. He emphasized the importance of the private sector in fostering increased cooperation, especially in the tourism industry, suggesting that more streamlined visa processes could facilitate greater business and cultural exchanges.
