Embassy of Russia in Pakistan to Open Virtual Condolence Book for Terrorist Attack Victims

Islamabad, In response to the tragic terrorist attack at “Crocus City Hall,” President Vladimir Putin has declared March 24, 2024, as a Day of National Mourning. To honor the victims and provide a platform for condolences, the Embassy of Russia in Pakistan has announced the opening of a virtual condolence book from March 24 to 26, 2024.

According to Embassy of The Russian Federation, individuals wishing to express their condolences can send their letters and messages to the specified email address: pakistan@mid.ru. This initiative allows people from Pakistan and around the world to share their messages of sympathy and solidarity with the victims and their families during this period of national mourning.

The virtual condolence book is a reflection of the growing trend of digital memorials, offering a way for communities to come together in grief and support despite physical distances. It also underscores the deep impact of terrorism and the collective mourning and resilience in its aftermath.
