English Language Day being observed today

English Language Day is being observed today.

The theme of the day this year is “Using technology for multilingual learning: Challenges and opportunities”.

The day is observed annually on April 23 to mark the birth and death anniversary of English playwright, poet, and actor William Shakespeare, as well as to celebrate the importance of the English language in the world.
