The Federal Cabinet has passed a condolence resolution on the martyrdom of Iranian President Sayyed Ebrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian and their companions in the helicopter crash.
The meeting chaired by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif paid tributes to the Iranian President for his immense services for promotion of Pakistan-Iran relations as well as regional cooperation.
The cabinet prayed for the higher ranks of the Iranian President, the Foreign Minister and others who died in the helicopter crash.
In his remarks on the occasion, Shehbaz Sharif said the entire Pakistani nation is deeply saddened over the tragic death of Iranian President Sayyed Ebrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian and their companions.
Extending heartfelt condolences with the bereaved families and the Iranian people, the Prime Minister said Pakistani nation stands by them in this hour of difficulty.
