Finance Minister Aurangzeb Affirms Commitment to Enhancing Pakistan’s Investment Environment

Islamabad: Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, in a meeting with FinnFund representative Antti Partanen, affirmed the government’s dedication to improving Pakistan’s investment climate to attract more foreign investors.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the discussions centered on identifying and leveraging potential investment opportunities within Pakistan. Minister Aurangzeb emphasized the government’s strategy to transition the country into an export-led economy and boost the national export base through Foreign Direct Investment.

Antti Partanen detailed FinnFund’s investments and expressed continued interest in sectors such as digital infrastructure, renewable energy, agriculture, and forestry, highlighting Pakistan’s demographic advantages and the fund’s readiness to deepen its investment across various sectors.
