Four Killed In SW Pakistan Shootout

Four people were killed in a shootout between two groups, in Pakistan’s south-west Balochistan province, last night, police said.

The incident happened in the provincial capital of Quetta, where a verbal argument between members of two groups turned worse, and they opened fire at each other, police told the media from the incident site.

Both groups were from the city’s influential families, who clashed over a land dispute, the police added.

Several people were also injured in the exchange of fire and have been shifted to a nearby hospital.

The area had been cordoned off by police for further investigation.
