Funeral Prayers for Lieutenant Uzair Mehmood Malik Shaheed Held in Peshawar

Islamabad: Funeral prayers for Lieutenant Uzair Mehmood Malik Shaheed were conducted today in Peshawar, attended by the Corps Commander of Peshawar, family members, and numerous civil and military officials. The young officer, who recently succumbed to wounds sustained in combat, will be laid to rest with full military honors in his hometown in the Attock district.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, last Friday, Lieutenant Malik demonstrated exemplary bravery in leading his troops against militants in Bagh, where he neutralized four assailants. Unfortunately, he was critically injured during the intense firefight and had been receiving treatment at the Combined Military Hospital in Peshawar until his passing.
