Karachi: Gold prices in Pakistan have witnessed a marginal increase, reflecting the trends observed in international markets. According to the All-Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola, a traditional South Asian measure, rose by Rs. 500 to reach Rs. 325,500. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-carat gold increased by Rs. 428, now standing at Rs. 279,063.
The report further detailed a rise in the price of 10 grams of 22-carat gold, which saw an increment of Rs. 393, bringing its price to Rs. 255,817. This upward trend aligns with a minor increase in the international gold market, where prices have risen by $5, reaching $3,089.
Meanwhile, the silver market has remained stable, with no change in the prices. The cost per tola of silver remains at Rs. 3,580, and 10 grams of silver continue to be priced at Rs. 3,069. The international market for silver remains unchanged at $34.10.
