Government Considers Enhanced Incentives for Chinese Investors

Islamabad: In a move to attract more Chinese investment, Minister for Industries and Production Rana Tanveer Hussain announced the government’s consideration of additional incentives and concessions. Speaking at a ceremony held at the Pakistan-China Institute today, Hussain emphasized the pivotal role of Special Economic Zones (SEZs) in fostering Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) within Pakistan.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the minister highlighted the strategic value of relocating Chinese industries to Pakistan, viewing it as a vital step toward the country’s developmental goals. He committed to ensuring comprehensive security measures for Chinese companies operating in Pakistan, reinforcing the government’s dedication to strengthening economic ties with China.
