Government of Abu Dhabi organizes Sustainable Week

Islamabad, January 20, 2016 (PPI-OT): In order to encourage, promote and support renewable and sustainable energy development all over the world the Government of Abu Dhabi organizes Abu Dhabi Sustainable Week. It is participated by Global leaders in the field of renewable energy for sharing ideas and developing strategies for conserving energies and making the world cleaner, greener and healthier.

Prominent companies from all over the world are also present to showcase their latest innovations and products on renewable energy through exhibitions held in parallel.

Honourable Minister of State for Petroleum Mr. Jam Kamal Khan was invited by UAE’s Energy Minister Mr. Sohail Mazrui to attend this flagship event of Government of Abu Dhabi.

Honorable Minister showed keen interest in the latest innovations in renewable energy showcased at the occasion. During the visit, his honour Mr Jam Kamal Khan held meetings with UAE’s Minister of Energy and also shared views with Deputy Prime Minister of UAE, Shaikh Mansoor bin Zayed and the Minister of Education and Sports Shaikh Nahyan bin Mubarak.

The Minister showed keen interest in the latest innovations in the field of renewable energy especially solar energy. He visited more than hundred stands and held meetings with representatives of over twenty leading companies to get information about salient features and technical details of products.

Before the close of his two days long and hectic visit the Minister attended a lunch hosted in his honour by the Ambassador of Pakistan Mr. Asif Durrani. His honour appreciated the role and support extended by Embassy during the visit. In the end the Minister inked his views in the visitor’s book.
