Government ready to hold talks with opposition on any issue except corruption: Khattak

Islamabad, September 20, 2020 (PPI-OT):Defence Minister Pervez Khattak says Prime Minister Imran Khan is striving to pull the country out of Financial Action Task Force grey-list. Addressing a public gathering in Nowshera, he expressed hope that the FATF would remove Pakistan from grey-list in its upcoming review meeting.

Pervez Khattak said the FATF is satisfied with Pakistan’s efforts to crack down on terror funding and money laundering. Commenting on national issues, he said Prime Minister Imran Khan is ready to hold talks with the opposition on any issue except corruption. The Defence Minister said the accountability drive in the country will continue with no exemption to anyone.
