NIA Conducts Raids Across Six Locations in Jammu Region

Jammu, The National Investigation Agency (NIA) of India carried out searches at six different locations in the Jammu region of occupied Jammu and Kashmir. These actions are part of an ongoing investigation related to a case registered in May 2020.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the operations took place in the Doda, Ramban, and Kishtwar districts. A spokesperson for the agency stated that the NIA teams seized various items during the searches, including digital devices and documents. The specifics of the case, referred to as a “false case” by local sources, were not detailed in the report.

The involvement of the NIA highlights the continuing tension in the region and the agency’s active role in addressing issues deemed as national security threats by the Indian government.
