Karachi, June 23, 2012 (PPI-OT): Governor Sindh, Dr. Ishrat Ul Ebad Khan, has felicitated Raja Pervaiz Ashraf on his election as Prime Minister of Pakistan.
In a statement here on Friday, he hoped that under the leadership of Raja Pervaiz Ashraf the continuation of democratic process in the country would be ensured.
He said that the election of the new prime minister in accordance with the democratic requirement augurs well and would be a milestone for the strengthening of democracy in the country.
He also praised the role of the coalition partners in the government.
The Governor also lauded that vision and guidance of President Asif Ali Zardari and chief of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), Altaf Hussain.
