Karachi, June 17, 2023 (PPI-OT): Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesori visited four rain drains of Karachi city including PIDC drain, City Station drain on II Chandrigar Road, Orangi drain on Nazimabad No. 2 and Gujjar drain in Federal B area. On this occasion, Administrator Karachi Dr. Syed Saif-ur Rehman was also with him. Governor Sindh inspected the work of cleaning the drains.
The Governor of Sindh while issuing instructions to the administrator said that the cleaning of these drains should be completed as soon as possible, the lack of resources should not be an obstacle in the cleaning work, he further directed that the cleaning of the drains should be done on a regular basis. Kamran Khan Tesuri said that cleaning of drains should be a continuous process and not just before rains. Governor of Sindh prayed that Allah protect us from the ravages of hurricane, there is a forecast of heavy rains, so people are requested not to leave their homes unnecessarily.
