Govt committed to support local auto parts manufacturers: Kamal

Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan has said that the government is committed to extend all possible support to encourage local manufacturing of auto parts and mobile phones.

He was talking to Pakistan Association of Automotive Parts and Accessories Manufacturers Chairman Abdul Rehman Aziz, and representatives of mobile phone manufacturers in Islamabad.

They discussed issues impacting local manufacturing of automobiles and mobile phones on Tuesday.

They apprised the minister about the problems being faced by auto mobile industry in Pakistan.

Jam Kamal Khan assured that these issued would be redressed in consultation with the concerned ministries.

The minister assured the PAAPAM to resolve Post-Budget issues to promote ‘Made in Pakistan’ manufacturing.
