Lahore, Grays Leasing Limited has officially announced its 28th Annual General Meeting, scheduled to take place on October 26, 2023, at 10:00 am, at the company’s registered office in Lahore. The meeting will convene to address critical business matters that are pivotal to the company’s operations and future.

The agenda for this important gathering includes the following key items of business:

Ordinary Business:

Confirmation of Minutes: Shareholders will review and confirm the minutes of the 27th Annual General Meeting, which took place on October 27, 2022.

Financial Statements: The audited financial statements of Grays Leasing Limited for the fiscal year ending on June 30, 2023, along with the accompanying Directors’ and Auditors’ reports, will be presented, considered, and adopted.

Auditor Appointment: Shareholders will appoint auditors for the fiscal year 2023-2024 and decide on their remuneration. Messrs Riaz Ahmed & Company, Chartered Accountants, the current auditor, has retired, and the audit committee and Board of Directors have recommended the reappointment of Messrs. Riaz Ahmed & Company Chartered Accountants for the year ending June 30, 2024.

Director Election: The meeting will include the election of seven directors for the company, each to serve a three-year term. The candidates include Mr. Khawar Anwar Khawaja, Mr. Muhammad Tahir Butt, Mr. Khurram Anwar Khawaja, Mr. Omer Khawar Khawaja, Mr. Muhammad Arshad, Mr. Iftikhar Ahmad Butt, and Mrs. Nuzhat Khawar Khawaja.

Important Notes:

The Share Transfer Books of the Company will be closed from October 20, 2023, to October 26, 2023, inclusive. Physical transfers and CDS Transaction IDs received by the Registrar, M/s. Corptec Associates (Pvt) Limited, located at 503 – E Johar Town Lahore, until the close of business on October 19, 2023, will be considered valid for determining shareholders’ entitlement to attend and vote at the Annual General Meeting.
