Head of British Department for International Development congratulates Shahbaz Sharif over appreciation of vaccination program by Global Alliance for vaccines and immunization

Lahore, March 17, 2016 (PPI-OT):Punjab government under the honourable leadership of Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has ensured successful implementation of vaccination programme in the province and vaccination programme of Punjab government is not only a role model for other provinces but other countries as well. This was disclosed during a review meeting of Punjab Health Reforms Roadmap Program, today.

The meeting presided over by Chief Minister Punjab continued for four hours which expressed satisfaction over the progress of Punjab Health Reforms Roadmap Program. The meeting was told that the innovation introduced by Punjab government in vaccination program through modern technology has increased the coverage and such progress has not been witnessed in any other province or country.

Head of DFID Joanna Reid congratulated Shahbaz Sharif over appreciation by Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization (GAVI) on substantial progress in vaccination programme and added that under the leadership of the Chief Minister, an excellent work has been carried out in vaccination program.
