Helping poor is religious and national duty: President

Islamabad, July 28, 2020 (PPI-OT): President Dr. Arif Alvi says helping poor and deserving people on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha is a religious and national duty. He was speaking during his visit to a shelter home in Islamabad today (Tuesday). The President urged the welfare organizations, civil society and philanthropists to take care of the weaker sections of society in these difficult times.

The President inspected the arrangements made for the homeless and needy at the shelter home. The President expressed satisfaction over the implementation of Standard Operating Procedures for COVID-19 in the shelter home.
