Karachi, July 20, 2018 (PPI-OT): Chief of the Water Commission Justice (retd) Amir Hani Muslim along with Commissioner Karachi Muhammad Saleh Farooqui and Metropolitan Commissioner of KMC Dr. Syed Saif-ur-Rehman, M.D KWSB Khalid Mehmood Shaikh, Director General SBCA Iftikhar Qaimkhani visited different areas of city in a long visit to check the cleaning of storm water drains and cleanliness conditions on Wednesday. Deputy Commissioners of different districts and officers of Sindh High Court, KMC, KWSB, KDA and SBCA were also present on this occasion.
Justice (retd) Amir Hani Muslim reviewed the ongoing works and issued on the spot directives during his visit. He also instructed the municipal commissioner east to remove the huge sign boards in Qayyumabad. He also inspected cleanliness works being carried out in Qayyumabad, Korangi, Landhi, Malir, Gulistan e Jauhar, Karimabad and Nagan Chowrangi. Commissioner Karachi Muhammad Saleh Farooqui and Metropolitan Commissioner of KMC Dr. Syed Saif-ur-Rehman briefed about cleanliness and beautification works and also the removal of garbage and waste from storm water drains.
