Nawaz Sharif Elected Unopposed as PML-N President

Lahore, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has been elected as the new President of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) without opposition, in a smooth intra-party election held during the General Council Meeting today.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the announcement was made by the Chief Election Commissioner for intra-party elections, Rana Sanaullah Khan. Khan confirmed that no other nominations were submitted, clearing the path for Sharif’s unopposed election.

The election signifies a key moment for the PML-N as it continues to navigate the complexities of Pakistan’s political landscape under Sharif’s leadership.
