Prime Minister Commends Pakistan Navy on Successful Anti-Drug Operation

Islamabad, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has publicly praised the Pakistan Navy for successfully intercepting a drug smuggling attempt in the Northern Arabian Sea. The operation led to the seizure of a launch carrying narcotics, underscoring the navy’s role in national security.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Prime Minister expressed his gratitude towards the officers and crew of PNS ASLAT for their bravery and dedication in executing the mission. Sharif emphasized that the Pakistan Navy is steadfast in its commitment to combating not only drug trafficking but also human trafficking and sea piracy while protecting the nation’s maritime boundaries.

The Prime Minister also paid tribute to the navy personnel, acknowledging their sacrifices and the challenges of performing duties in the deep sea, far from their families, to ensure the security of Pakistan’s waters.
