Islamabad: Faisal Karim Kundi, Deputy Speaker, National Assembly chaired a meeting of the House Business Advisory Committee in Parliament House to discuss the Business of the House for 33rd Session of the National Assembly.
After thorough discussion, it was decided that the 33rd Session of the National Assembly would continue till 12th August, 2011 and the sessions will be held in morning due to Ramzan. It was decided that the National Assembly will take up various laws pending for legislation apart from discussion on issues concerning the public. It was also decided that adjournment motions on law and order and shortage of fertilizer in the country would be taken up for discussion.
The meeting was attended by Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah, Minister for Religious Affairs, Mian Riaz Hussain Pirzada, Minister for Professional and Technical Training, MNAs Rana Tanvir Hussain, Dr. Tariq Fazal Ch. Sheikh Aftab Ahmad, Dr. Abdul Kadir Khanzada and Mr. Iqbal Muhammad Ali Khan.
