Lahore, During a recent visit to Qurban Lines, Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar evaluated the progress of development works at various police offices, focusing on advancements in telecommunications and security.
According to Punjab Police, Dr. Anwar’s tour included stops at the Telecommunication and Transport Headquarters and the Security and Technical Procurement Headquarters, where he observed the renovation and construction efforts firsthand. He emphasized the critical role of the Telecommunication and Transport Wing in maintaining law and order and underscored the necessity of modernizing police infrastructure to enhance policing effectiveness.
IG Punjab issued directives to expedite the completion of these projects, ensuring that the new facilities meet the deadline.
