IG Punjab Visits Family of Martyred ASI, Assures Support

Lahore: In a heartfelt visit, Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar met with the family of ASI Muhammad Nawaz, who was martyred in an encounter with dacoits in Sheikhupura. Dr. Anwar offered his condolences and support to the bereaved family, extending significant assurances including educational support for the children and housing.

According to Punjab Police, during his visit to the residence of ASI Muhammad Nawaz in Kot Abdul Malik, IG Punjab expressed his deep respect for the officer’s sacrifice and offered a police department job to Nawaz’s widow. He assured that the martyr’s family would receive continuous support from the police department. The visit highlighted the ongoing risks police officers face and the commitment of the Punjab Police to honor their service and support their families.
