Srinagar, August 15, 2018 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the authorities have suspended mobile phone services in the Kashmir Valley on India’s Independence Day, today. Both mobile phone Internet and talk facilities were shut off by all service providers in the Valley in the morning, today.

Officials of different mobile phone companies told media that they had been directed to suspend operations till further orders. It is to mention here that suspension of mobile phone connectivity has for the last many years become a part of the so-called security measures in occupied Kashmir on August 15 (India’s Independence Day) and January 26 (India’s Republic Day).
