Indian Security Forces Accused of Excessive Force in Kashmir

Jammu, In a recent escalation of violence in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), Indian troops are reported to have killed a Kashmiri youth and detained three others under controversial circumstances.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the youth was killed in what has been described as a fake encounter by Border Security Force personnel during a cordon and search operation near BOP Regal area in Samba district. The report further states that additional arrests took place in Bandipora and Budgam districts as part of ongoing military operations, which also extended into Kupwara, Baramulla, Udhampur, and Kathua districts.

These incidents have intensified concerns over the use of excessive force and human rights violations in the region, spotlighting the ongoing conflict and its impact on local communities.
