Indian Troops Detain Youths in Jammu and Kashmir Under Militancy Charges

Srinagar, In a recent operation within the Islamabad district of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), Indian troops have detained two youths following a cordon and search operation in the Larkipora area. The military action is part of the ongoing operations by Indian forces in the region.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the detained individuals were labeled as militants by the troops, a classification that has frequently been cited to legitimize various forms of crackdowns on the local population. This practice has raised concerns regarding the pretext under which civilians in the occupied territory are being apprehended.

The arrests have once again spotlighted the tense situation in IIOJK, where operations by Indian troops have often resulted in accusations of human rights violations and unlawful detentions. The international community continues to monitor these developments closely.
