Information Minister Calls for Non-Political Approach to Terrorism

Islamabad: In a firm stance against politicizing security issues, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has called on all political parties to avoid using terrorism as a political tool.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, during a response to a point of order in the National Assembly, Minister Tarar emphasized the urgent need for enhanced counter-terrorism measures in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He advocated for the establishment of a dedicated Counter Terrorism Department in the province and stressed the importance of implementing safe city initiatives to bolster security.

Minister Tarar also acknowledged and paid homage to the sacrifices made by the security forces and law enforcement agencies in maintaining peace and security within the country.
